Things I’ve Seen

April 19, 2012

. . . . . .

I am really becoming a fan of California…

Today I thought I’d share a bunch of iPhone camera snaps over the past week… I am shooting a lot of film, too – but I thought it’d be fun to show you what I’m seeing in real-time as I explore southern California (and I don’t have a digital camera with me, so the phone will have to do).

Soon, I’m going to share some info about the shoot I did on Tuesday, as well as pictures of the prep for my show opening on Saturday night at ST&NDARD GOODS here in LA.  I hope you can join us if you’re in the area!

More soon.

I very much love the atmosphere, that you are capturing in your fotos..! And the third last pic makes me want to come in and have a weekend in this hut (or what it is…). By the way, I just ordered two of your three books you have on the bedside table; Fuchs and Parks, the other one I couldn’t find out what it is… :-))
Happy to see more of your fotos and enjoy your time in CA,

What is this cabin you’re staying in? The wood! The rugs! The light! The everything! And what is that place that looks like Tent Rocks?

You have such a distinctive eye that comes through even in your iPhone photos. And California looks amazing. I really want to visit one day.

    Hey Brian
Looks like you made it to Heath Ceramics? I was there just last week and managed to sneak a few iPhone snaps of my own. The Garza Furniture is amazing too – if only my suitcase was just that little bit bigger…

It’s amazing what you can do with an iPhone. But can’t wait to see the film. Too bad you aren’t visiting the Pacific Northwest especially while it is PhotoMonth. Have a great time in LA.

Good to see my sweet Southern California sisterland through a visitor’s eye! Gorgeous gorgeous moments. You’re nearly making me want to go south…and for a Northern California lifer, that is saying something!
