anchor & hope (+ a new mix)
. . . . . . . . . . . . .
thinking about a sunday lunch at anchor & hope recently with friends charlotte & matt. the food and the entire experience was, as the locals might say, bloody brill.
also falling under the category of bloody brill:
+ our legacy lookbook (as always, so damn good – the colors & tones are amazing)
+ a video of the good people at vinegar hill house, one of my favorite brooklyn restaurants (how i miss this place) (thanks, michael)
+ i can buy bath ales online! and have them delivered to my flat! i love it.
+ railroad cafe in hackney, one of my new favorite spots in london
i will be away from this space next week … but before i go, i wanted to share a new mix with you all. a short playlist for a short month – it’s all stuff i’m listening to on repeat these days. you can listen to it HERE.
track list:
+ truth (alexander)
+ taken too young (the tough alliance vs. taken by trees)
+ still sound (toro y moi)
+ badaboom (tapes ‘n tapes)
+ helplessness blues (fleet foxes)
+ hamilton road (ducktails)
+ a room where your paintings hang (lost in the trees)
+ the wilhelm scream (james blake)

Oh I love your mixes. And now feel the need to recreate what looks like a gorgeous lentil soup up top so I can enjoy the total listen/taste fantasma. Enjoy the week of adventuring…looking forward to the yield.
Absolutely killer mix.
And that first photo – I want to live in it.
I’m listening to them now, came at a good time when I’m sick of my own playlist, thanks! Love the atmosphere in the photos.
