……….

hello and happy friday to you!

there is no real theme to the photos above, except that i shot them on my last sunday afternoon in brooklyn. the top 2 photos were taken at a delicious meal i shared with my parents. the light that came through the window next to our table was amazing.

i have to run but before i go, i wanted to say thanks for all of your emails and comments lately. i have been trying to keep up but it’s been hard … however, i truly appreciate your support. posting might become less frequent around here in the coming week or two … but i’ll pop in whenever i can. there will be so much to share in the coming months! i’m excited.

cheers to a great weekend.

best wishes to you, brian. did you ever get to come up to stone barns? i think you would so enjoy a walk and lunch in the cafe (although it only has outdoor seating, which is getting a little chilly now!)
i want to thank you, before you move on to london, for making me fall in love with brooklyn-something my husband and my mother-in-law are no doubt grateful for!
i’m already in love with london, but i can’t wait to see it through your photos.
    take care!

These are beautiful b. Especially the flowers at that restaurant and the low-level shot of the leaf strewn street.
My best for the next few weeks.
Also I have a gift to mail you, do you know your new address yet?

Beautiful fall light–this year I am really clinging to the last leaves and flowers. I’m definitely going to miss your take on Brooklyn, but also looking forward to getting to know London.

I love the photo of the leaves on the sidewalk- the focus soft in the foreground and sharpening as you follow the walk… beautifully done. Best of luck to you in your coming move. I also can’t wait to see how you interpret London.

There’s no theme, but the photographs are really connected to me. They pass the same feeling of tranquility :)

Just showing up to say I like your blog and your photos!

I just love the leaves on the ground. Somehow they all have perfectly matching shades of yellow.

Best wishes on your move. If I were you, these photos would make me so sad to leave Brooklyn… but I know you’ll depict London beautifully too.
