I’ve been following your posts for a year or so now and I really, really love the pictures you take. But it have one question: By what criteria do you decide wheter to upload a photograph on flickr or just to post it in your blog?
thanks, nik. i don’t have any criteria, really – usually i will upload to flickr a few highlights from a post or maybe a few of my favorite shots from the post.
There are so many things about those first two photographs that I’m in love with.

When you decide to take off the 4th of July weight and are diligently cutting up onions, kale and zucchini you need a midsummer mix – thanks for letting me do my zen thing through the raw salad. The first photo does indeed draw you in.
That Jacqueline Berger poem caught my eye on the Writer’s Almanac last month – I also bookmarked it. Sounded in many ways like how my grandparents met – if they hadn’t both arrived late to a mixer (well, officially “hour dance”) they wouldn’t have danced. And wouldn’t have been married 67 years. And wouldn’t have had 7 kids. And I wouldn’t be here. The list goes on.
