Good lord, those are some pretty skies. I hope you have more of them in March too. My Dad is in London now, and is going to be traveling back and forth a lot in the coming months. I’m very jealous.
Where in London is this? It’s utterly amazing.
Great quote! Spring is very close Brian.. I snapped this http://cl.ly/3q14042g0j2q312j1I2i with my phone a couple of days ago.
this post just made my day, maybe even my week. thanks, brian.
Beautiful quote and pictures!
Rushing through emails and visiting a couple of favorite sites, then I saw these photos and stopped short. I love it when that happens ~ when the sight of something feels almost physical, like the palm of a hand on your chest. Thanks for this.
This post is perfection.
anyone remember when the sky looked like this in the summer for 09 in nyc?
Gosh these clouds are incredible.
such beautiful skies. i love the first picture in particular.
wonderful skies. I like how the sky is reflected in the windows on the second photo.
I love the mental image that forms in my mind when I read that quote.
The sun is out right now! I get so excited at this point that i always feel the need to talk about it… then i realize i’m THAT person talking about the weather. Hope you’re well!
How perfect is this post? People like you remind me that the world is still worth living in.
Loving the quote, too. And the skies-Maxfield Parrish would be so excited.
wonderful how the meringue clouds and the rooftop stovepipes are in sync!
Those clouds look like cartoons, all scallop-edged and perfect. It’s kind of ridiculously beautiful.

love the quote! i’m quite excited about getting back to london after 3 months in nz on holiday to find the season turning, the days full of blue skies, the evenings full of golden rooftops and daffodils and crocus smiling at the sun.
