a couple of weeks ago, friends charlotte and matt came over to my flat to celebrate the start of dark & stormy season. it was their first time enjoying a dark & stormy (and i think they were a big hit). afterwards, we had dinner at brawn which has become a new favorite of mine. i’ve been there twice now and had the pig trotters each time. if you go, do not miss this dish.

(ps: if you live in london and you want to enjoy dark & stormys this summer, i found goslings’ black seal bermuda rum (the only rum you should consider using in these drinks) at the vintage house in soho)
