LOVE, LOVE the one with the books!
Lovely and dreamy photos as always :-)
Brian, these photos are perfection!
your blog is amazing! i actually heard about it on one of joy the baker’s podcasts! i love your photos!
My favorite shot is the one with the beer and newspaper on the table. It’s kind of got this haunting feel. Like someone just disappeared.
love the shots !! specially the white door and pile of books…and the window ones !!
This is awesome!
The photo with the books piled up against the door is my absolute favorite.
Absolutely love the first photo of the series :)
lovely portrait of x.
So lovely!
So, so nice! I second the books against the door, but the lonely beer glass is kind of fabulous.
ah that first pic and the one with the wine glass…love love love! the light is just beautiful in all!
I do the same thing. I’ve found that doing the double exposure project with Steph (Parke) has actually helped me to shoot things I normally wouldn’t. It’s interesting!
These have such lovely warm summer light. You have a way with light, Brian. :-)
mmm, there is so much life here, quiet as it is. the opened jar, the unfinished glass of beer, the newspaper, the chalkboard.
I love the way you capture spaces, Brian. You notice the finest light and details.
i love the window shots. my favourite pictures indeed.
Wonderful set of photos. The first one is my favorite.
Love your portrait of X. Let’s talk soon…
absolutely any food substance “à la fleur d’oranger” is my faaaaavorite. my host mom used to put it in tea! so yummy.
how lucky you got so many good friends in all the wonderful places. it somehow shines through in your pictures too.
i just don’t have words for all your amazing photos anymore. you are so, so talented!
especially loving the stack of books.
it’s funny how we are often attracted to the same subjects, over and over again. even when we try to do something different.
bienvenue en ville !
Love this set mate…bravo!

Oh,i can absolutely relate to that. It’s just a never ending visual research.
I mean, how can i possibly get tired of making pictures of things i love when the light makes them look so delicious?
Wonderful photos as always and it’s nice to see some faces among them.
i’m with molly. that portrait of xavier is really something else. also, love how you can capture the mood of a weekend.
loving those first three and last four………feel like i’ve dived into one of your dreams.
so many lovely images :)
i still always love seeing the shots of you taking a photo. makes me miss seeing you though!
I love windows, doors & pathways. Nice shots.
the guy on 9th photo totally looks like Jean Reno in The Professional, Nice Photos!!
I was in Paris this last summer – your top picture immediately drew me back there. Just a window and building but the feeling of Paris was there.
