I quite enjoy texture in photos, it adds an element of character and depth to a photo. The paint peeling off the siding, and cacti makes these photos very intriguing. Thanks for sharing Brian.

The General Store is one my top five shops in San Francisco. Did you happen to grab some toast at Trouble Coffee while you while you were in the neighborhood?

Lovely. Something about the light is so San Francisco. And of course, the subject–ruffled cactus (!)–could never be a bore to gaze upon.

Lovely as always. One of my oldest friends is gardener & garden designer, he’ll love this so I’ll send him the link. I know it’s San Francisco but the whole aesthetic of that garden reminds me of ones I saw in Cape Town. Anyway, great post and work as always. -Arran.

Your work is lovely. It’s earthy, sexy, unpretentious, professional.

Thanks for sharing, Brian. It just awoke my interest in cacti. (And my affection for Native American textile patterns from the store.) Great texture and harmony of light – greenery, sandy colors and a hint of maroon.

Love that store and the backyard is so gorgeous! I wish I could grow some succulents and things on the loft patio!
