the photos i’m sharing above are all recent favorites and i really love them. such inspiration.
also, i want to share a video with you today – it is so, so good. perhaps it was just the extra cup of coffee this morning, but after watching this i was simply elated. (but i think it was this video). watch it: you will not be disappointed. video (and a short explanation of the concept and the group, called ‘yours truly’, HERE).

i love that video. the band is actually called The Morning Benders. Yours Truly is the site that presents videos from cool bands. If you don’t know them already, check out Local Natives — you might like. (although I have to say that the little Local Natives clip on Yours Truly isn’t necessarily the best introduction to them).
That video gave me goosebumps. So good!

The video was wonderful. The photos? As always. How could a weekend built on a start like this be anything but special. Thanks, Brian. BTW, I think the U.K. agrees with you. Many more posts than in your latter days in the States, which is about when I discovered your blog. Could be me. I’ve grown a bit dense in “old age,” but never too old to appreciate your vision.
