top 3 images are mine, taken with the diana+
bottom images are my flickr favorites (click the link for the full-size photo, it’s worth it):
1. that pink light i love, 2. Low Tide, 3. Untitled, 4. Untitled, 5. what is that? sun?, 6. miss wetherington
. . . . . . . . . . . .
i like photographs with a soul. the quirky photos, the abstract photos, the blurry photos, the dreamy photos, the photos that are unexpected or mistakes or have light leaks. the photos that make you work a little bit harder to love them. all of the photos above fit this category for me. those 3 diana+ shots above were in my pile of photos that i had written off; this week i dusted them off and realized how much i truly enjoy them.
before the weekend, a few things that i’m also enjoying right now:
+ toni meneguzzo (click on ‘portfolio’ and then ‘interiors’ for my favorites)
+ elizabeth clark libert’s photo series, libert and company
+ cork grips (found via makr)
+ grain & gram (watch the video of nick sambrato & his letterpress … awesome)
+ my recent inspirations
i have some american-style BBQ in my immediate future … this weekend is going to be good. i hope you enjoy yours, and i’ll see you next week.

these are so beautiful brian.
happy BBQ’ing!
enjoy the bbq and the weekend!
That top photo is the bomb. People still say that right? Really cool. Love the graininess.
Happy Weekend! Love these kind of photos too.
Wonderful interview with Nick Sambrato, and I loved the video! Thanks so much for sharing all your discoveries with us.
the first photo made me say “that is fucking gorgeous” out loud to no one in particular. and it is. wow.
beautiful eye candy.
it’s the slow burn right? it has to develop over time and then just slaps you in the face. happy friday friend.
love the light in that second image. this post makes me want to re-visit my old written-off photos and find beauty in them, as well!
Those top two photos are just stunning Brian! So gorgeous!
I know what you mean about revisiting photos, I do it sometimes when I get bored and you find some real gems then.
Have fun at your BBQ and have a good weekend!
I absolutely love the picture on top
these photos are gorgeous – your first photo especially.
oh I love those shots. have a lovely week end. x
i’m loving these photos and your pinterest. have a great weekend!
Wow Brian, I love those Diana shots. Really beautiful.
I can’t say enough nice stuff about that top photo. The way the light falls on the ledge with the plants is perfect, just perfect.
couldn’t agree more. the kind of images you can’t get out of your head.
I am really enjoying your photographs, Amelia
Lovely diana snaps. It is great being able to come back to photos and realising that you do really like them!
xx
these are so great…. so ethereal, like old, warm memories…
so glad those dianas got dusted off. isn’t it funny how our perception of what is ‘good’ changes so frequently? what a surprise to see my very own throw-away shot in your faves. thanks, b!
lovely…. These pics are just awesome :)
