A few months ago, I had the pleasure to spend the afternoon with London-based design experts (and husband & wife) Brent Dzekciorius and Marine Hartogs. Marine worked for five years as a design specialist at Phillips before recently being named director of Galerie Kreo’s new London space, and Brent — known for his support of up-and-coming talents — was previously the worldwide director of Phillips de Pury’s retail operations from 2010-2013. Recently, Brent launched Dzek, a material-based design & architectural surfaces company (his first design, Marmoreal with Max Lamb, has been on my mind constantly the past few months – so good).

Brent & Marine are so incredibly nice and have a deep knowledge of and appreciation for design & art in various forms. It was a pleasure to photograph their London flat and their amazing collections for Sight Unseen. Thanks to Jill & Monica for the introduction and fun assignment.
